My collecting style is really all over the place. I am taken in by the cuteness, fall for the fashionistas, love the casual, adore the haughty ice queens and embrace even the toughest of lasses. Despite how people categorize themselves (or their dolls), there is no black and white, but merely endless shades of gray. My tribe of dollies accurately reflects the many facets of my own personality – with it’s sweetness and spice…the good, the bad and the ugly. 😉
Final Fantasy's Dr. Aki Ross
This stern-looking gal is a Final Fantasy Dr. Aki Ross 12 inch figure. The upside is that she’s got some wicked cool articulation – check out how far her knees bend! Nice. And she’s got a pretty cool weapon and hands that can grip it. The downside is that her headpiece and hair are molded on, the clothes aren’t removable without a seam ripper and I’m not sure if her boots come off. Fortunately, I like her original get-up and it seems to be quite well made. Not bad for four bucks at the flea market. I took her photo indoors, because it is still raining. Will it never end? I need some sunshine. *tantrum* Anyway, I used her box liner for a background and shot with a full flash.
