Today is my birthday. And I’m old enough that it’s no longer worth mentioning just how many years it’s been since my life started. π I’m having a great time, hubby took the day off work and showered me with fabulous presents and lots of attention. We spent the day just hanging out together, first on a scenic car ride, then shopping and back home to mess about in the yard. It was fun, relaxed and entertaining. He’s my favorite person in the world, he totally gets me and we spend a whole lot of time laughing and being silly. The best way to spend a birthday is with the one who loves you. Lucky me, he’s all my wishes come true every day.

Jeannie and Jack
One of my awesome birthday presents from hubby was the Harley Davidson Barbie & Ken set. Ken got released from the box right away (Barbie will have to wait a bit longer) and got to meet the rest of my tribe. He’s been given a new name because he doesn’t look like a “Ken” to me. I call him Jack. His original outfit is cool, so no redressing him yet.
Jack’s new girlfriend for now (something tells me he’s going to be a heartbreaker, LOL) is a Nippon Misaki Crazy Girl doll that I’ve renamed Jeannie. She’s wearing a Momoko tank top, Painted Black Colette’s shorts, Integrity Toys shoes (not sure specifically which doll they’re from), Mattel bracelets and Harley Davidson Barbie’s sunglasses.
Jack’s articulation is so good that he can pose freestanding and unassisted while giving Jeannie a ride on his shoulders. This photo was taken with them standing on the rock wall in my front yard, lit by the last rays of sunset.
