Oh, how I’ve missed this!

I’ve been super busy, but with good reason – we’ve added two new kitties to our family. The house had seemed so empty with our dear Rabbitt gone and we were worried that our other cat, Bella, might be lonely. So, now she will have some new buddies to play with. Both Tippy (four months old) and Asia (three years old) were adopted from rescue groups. So I’ve been spending most of my time teaching them the house rules and getting each cat accustomed the others. It’s been going well, but it takes lots of time & attention.

It’s also been like a total dollypalooza here recently. My preorders have started to ship and I also caught some killer doll & doll clothing sales…gosh, it’s all showing up here at once! So I’ve got a bunch of new toys to play with and high hopes that I’ll be able to carve out some spare time to play with them.

I took some photos over a month ago and finally got a chance to edit and upload them today. If kitty training continues to go as well as it is presently, I’ll be able to start posting here more often. *fingers crossed* Wish me luck! 🙂

Beautiful Rufus Blue

Today’s model is Dynamite Girls Rufus Blue from the Plastic Inevitable collection. She is wearing the romper from the Holiday in the Hamptons Poppy Parker giftset, Pearlescence Veronique’s bow belt, a couple of Barbie bracelets, a watch from either Ken, the Bratz or the Moxie girls, Regal Solstice Anja’s earrings and a necklace consisting of Hard Rock Barbie’s chain (shortened and with the dog tags removed) and a pendant I found at the flea market. Her photo was taken in our backyard in the evening sunshine.

If one is good, two are better. In my doll collection, I rarely have just one doll in a series. Usually I end up with another and another, you know how it goes. Oh, she’s lonely, she needs a friend. Then they can share clothes, shoes, you name it.

For Christmas, I received two such gal pals: Aria & Rufus Blue Dynamite Girls from the ElectroPop line. They immediately got redressed. Since they can share clothes with Misaki, Barbie and Nu Face dolls, they had plenty of outfits to choose from.

Aria is comfy in Groovy 60s Barbie’s dress, Rufus’ fishnet tights, and a faux fur shrug from My Wardrobe Barbie. Rufus makes a statement in her original fingerless gloves, Tokyo Here We Go Misaki’s necklace & corset top and Aria’s silver skinny pants & jacket.
