It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas...er, Halloween

Actually, Halloween was postponed in our community until this upcoming Saturday. Which is just as well since the snow storm on Saturday knocked our power out for a couple of days. Yeah, Mother Nature was giving out all tricks and no treats, LOL.

Today’s model is Portrait in Black Poppy Parker. She is wearing a crocheted hat and scarf made by me and the jacket, top and trousers from My Scene Barbie’s Chillin’ Out Madison. Her photo was taken in our side yard on Sunday in the morning sunlight.The pumpkin is a little lantern that I picked up at Gertrude Hawk Chocolates in the mall.

Today’s models are Pure Evil Misaki, Lady Like Misaki, Dynamite Girls Chill Factor Neve, Amazon exclusive Crazy Girl Misaki and Bonjour Amelie. Pure Evil is wearing an Audrey Hepburn Barbie dress, Modern Circle Barbie’s chiffon wrap as a scarf in her hair, Mary Kate and Ashley Barbie shoes, Mattel bracelets and a necklace I got at a doll show. Lady Like is wearing a Barbie Snow White dress and Winx dolls shoes. Neve is wearing a Barbie basketball uniform and Barbie socks & sneakers. Crazy Girl is wearing a Barbie Wonder Woman costume. Lastly, Amelie is wearing Witchy Witch Misaki’s dress and stockings, Barbie’s pointed hat and Fashion Royalty boots. The trick or treat bags were made by me out of a grocery bag, pipe cleaners, tape and stickers. The Halloween treat buckets were flea market finds.

The photo shoot was set up outdoors in my side yard with two hay bales behind them (to lean against – it was a windy day). It was taken in the early evening under overcast skies with the aid of the camera’s flash to brighten the scene.
